I remember my first trip to Tokyo, Japan last year.Although everything was new and exciting to see, most of the time I was exploring the city myself since my friend had to work 4 days of the week.
I remember the feeling of being so alone not knowing my directions, not knowing where to eat, not knowing how to read a lot of the signs, and having no one to talk to.
In a fast paced city with a population of 12,570,000 people condensed together, which is about 5 times the population of the city I've grown up in, Toronto, and with lots of buildings and stores packed together side by side with flashing lights you tend to get overwhelmed.
